We Are Open for Business.
What is a Volunteer?
Volunteers can work with us just a few hours a week or month, it's entirely up to you and depends upon what commitment you can offer. Whatever it is, we’ll have something for you to do, whether its weekly volunteering, 4.30 till 6.30 Monday to Friday, or more specific such as painting or maintenance or help with current projects. You might have a skill to offer us connected to your professional role, or you may just be looking for extra camaraderie, increase your self-confidence, meet new people, or even be open to learning a new skill. It's a great way to meet new people, from outside of your normal social set, and give back to the community.
Who can be a Volunteer?
You must be at least 18 years old to be a Volunteer, for insurance purposes.
• someone who might have some hours they can offer to the centre weekly or monthly
• someone who can bring new skills and resources.
